Berri Calls on Karami to Act Wisely Following the Qurna al-Sudda Incident

Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri called, during a phone conversation on Saturday, on the head of the "Tayyar al-Karama" bloc, MP Faisal Karami, to "exercise wisdom in dealing with the painful incident that resulted in the death of young Haitham Tawk." He urged the residents of Baqaasifrin and the Dinnieh region "not to succumb to preconceived judgments and rumors while awaiting the full truth." Karami expressed his gratitude to Berri for his concern regarding "general stability, especially between the neighboring areas of Bsharri and Baqaasifrin," promising to "apply reason and conscience in this matter as well as in everything related to security and social stability."
