The U.S. National Hurricane Center indicated today, Saturday, that Tropical Storm "Don" is likely to strengthen. The center stated: "The storm, moving northwest over the central Atlantic, is located about 975 kilometers to the south and southeast of Cape Race, carrying winds of up to 97 kilometers per hour." It added: "Storm Don is expected to become a hurricane tomorrow, Sunday."
