European Commissioner Warns of Hamas Executions Live-Streaming

The European Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton warned today, Wednesday, that social media platforms should prepare for the risk of Hamas carrying out executions via live broadcast. He added in a speech before the European Parliament, "In our interaction with the platforms, we specifically requested that they be prepared for the danger of Hamas executing live broadcasts, a looming threat from which we must protect our citizens." Breton further stated, "We seek assurances that the platforms are well-prepared for such possibilities."
