The United Nations mission in Libya confirmed in a statement today, Friday, that it "will work on assessing the feasibility of implementing the election laws issued by the Parliament Speaker Aguila Saleh." It added that it received a copy of those laws yesterday, Thursday. The mission mentioned that "it will strive to reach compromises, including matters related to forming a unified government, and believes that political solutions should be consensual and feasible to ensure a smooth electoral process."
