German Chancellor Olaf Scholz called today for preventing escalation in the Middle East and warned Hezbollah and Iran against intervening in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Scholz stated in a press conference following his meeting with Jordan's King Abdullah II in Berlin: "I explicitly warn Hezbollah and Iran against intervening in the conflict."
