Basil: Liberation from Corruption and Dependence Requires Long Breath

Head of the "Free Patriotic Movement" MP Gebran Basil indicated today, Friday, that "October 13, 1990 - October 13, 2023 is a journey, a movement, and a nation. A moment of defeat turned into a path of struggle. Liberation from corruption and dependence requires a long breath; the challenges of preserving the entity and building the state are more difficult than the challenges of liberation and resistance." Basil wrote on his official account on the platform "X," saying: "The movement is ready, its project is clear and documented, based on the sacrifices of martyrs, a platform of values, and the history and civilization of a people." He added, "Whatever happens, we confront with awareness, strength, and flexibility to ensure a future that Lebanon and its youth deserve."
