The underwhelming performance of Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic in the first three games of the NBA Finals has dimmed Miami's hopes of winning the title, and the Heat must find a way to neutralize the Serbian player. Jokic scored 32 points, grabbed 21 rebounds, and dished out ten assists in the Nuggets' 109-94 victory last Wednesday, putting them ahead 2-1 in the series. Jokic stated that he views Miami's variety of defensive strategies as a "puzzle." He became the first player to record at least 30 points, 20 rebounds, and ten assists in a Finals game. Jokic leads all players in points, rebounds, and assists in the 2023 playoffs. If this holds, he would be the first player in NBA history to lead in all three categories for a full postseason.
