In a speech at the "Summit for a New Global Financial Pact" in Paris, Macron emphasized that "we must address the challenges of poverty in the world through international solidarity." France is hosting the international summit "for a New Global Financial Pact" on June 22 and 23, at the invitation of Macron, with participation from several heads of state and government, including Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, along with officials from international organizations and representatives from global financial institutions, the private sector, and civil society.
