The World Health Organization announced today, Thursday, that "five trucks loaded with medical supplies are ready at the border between Gaza and Egypt, welcoming Israel's announcement that it will not prevent aid from entering Palestinian territories." The organization's Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, stated at a press conference: "Our trucks are loaded and ready to depart," expressing hope that the supplies can be delivered as soon as the crossing opens, saying: "We hope this will happen tomorrow."
