The office of South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol announced that he departed for Saudi Arabia and Qatar today, Saturday, to discuss cooperation in business activities and to review security conditions amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East. Yoon is scheduled to hold talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday and will travel to Qatar on October 24 and 25 to attend a summit and business forum. This visit comes nearly a year after the Saudi Crown Prince's visit to South Korea, where they discussed cooperation in energy, defense, and infrastructure development, along with signing investment agreements worth $30 billion with Korean companies.
