Blinken: We Can Move Forward in Our Relationship with China

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated on Tuesday during a press conference at the conclusion of the G7 meeting in Karuizawa, Japan, that "the United States can move forward in its relations with China after President Joe Biden's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping last year, but this requires Beijing to clarify its intentions." Biden met with his Chinese counterpart in Indonesia in November for a three-hour meeting, aimed at preventing the strained relations between the two countries from turning into a new Cold War.
