One person was killed and 57 others were injured on Saturday in two explosions at a liquefied petroleum gas station in Crevedia, near Bucharest, the capital of Romania. The emergency management agency reported that a fire spread after the first explosion to two fuel tanks and a nearby house, prompting authorities to carry out evacuation operations within a radius of 700 meters and halt traffic on the main road close to the site. The fire was contained by Sunday morning, and the prosecutor's office has taken over the investigation into its causes.
