The Turkish state news agency Anadolu announced today, Thursday, that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Turkey tomorrow, Friday, to hold talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan regarding the grain export agreement through the Black Sea and developments in the war in Ukraine. Turkey and the United Nations mediated the agreement reached last year, which allows for the export of grains and other agricultural products from Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea, despite the ongoing war. However, Russia, unhappy with certain aspects of the agreement's implementation, has threatened not to allow its renewal after July 17. Anadolu reported that Zelensky and Erdoğan will hold a private meeting and will also attend meetings involving other delegations.
