Netanyahu Announces Construction of a Fence on the Border with Jordan

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed today, Sunday, his government's intention to build a border fence with Jordan. In a tweet, Netanyahu stated: "We have built a fence on our southern border (with Egypt) and have been able to stop infiltration from there, which has prevented more than a million migrants from Africa who posed a threat to our country." He added: "Now we will begin constructing a fence on the eastern border with Jordan, ensuring that there is no infiltration from there as well. We will protect our borders, and thus, we will protect our country!"
