Terry Gou Resigns from Foxconn Board Ahead of Presidential Run in Taiwan

Foxconn, the Taiwanese company, announced today that "Terry Gou, the founder of Foxconn and a major supplier for Apple, has resigned from the company's board of directors." Gou, who stepped down as chairman of Foxconn in 2019, confirmed on Monday, following months of speculation, that he would enter the upcoming presidential election in Taiwan in January as an independent candidate.
