World Shooting Cup: Ray Basil Finishes Fourth

Lebanese international shooter Ray Basil ranked fourth in the World Cup in Olympic Trap shooting held in Qatar, scoring 119 points. Basil finished behind Italian Silvana Stanco, who secured first place with 121 points, followed by Australian Penny Smith in second with 120 points, and Italian Jessica Rossi in third, also with 120 points. Basil's result is notable in this major global competition, especially as she scored 49 points out of 50 in the last two rounds of the international tournament. On the other hand, Lebanese international shooter Leah Qarban was not fortunate enough to qualify for the finals of the World Cup. Basil's participation in this significant international event follows her achievement of a silver medal in the mixed doubles category with her teammate Alan Moussa at the Asian Cup held in Kuwait.
