Meteorologist Sadiq Attia shared a photo of the moon on his "Facebook" page, showcasing the phenomenon known as the "supermoon" in Iraq. This is the first and smallest of four supermoons in 2023. He noted: "The moon is currently at its closest point to Earth, known as perigee, at a distance of 367,362 kilometers, which will make its apparent size larger and its brightness more intense." Due to its proximity, it will appear 16% larger and will shine 6% brighter.
