Train Collision in Bangladesh Leaves 8 Dead

Bangladeshi police reported that at least eight people were killed and others injured today, Monday, in a train collision. The incident occurred when a passenger train collided with a freight train in the city of Bairab, about 80 kilometers from the capital Dhaka. A local police official named Siraj Islam stated that the death toll may rise as rescue operations continue.
