Qatar Airways Chairman Saad Al-Kaabi announced in an official communiqué obtained by Reuters today, Monday, that "the company's CEO Akbar Al Baker will step down from his position effective November 5," confirming previous reports. The communiqué also mentioned that Badr Al Meer will assume the role of CEO in his place.
