Kim made this commitment in a message to Putin on the occasion of Russia's national holiday, defending his decision to invade Ukraine and expressing "full support and solidarity."
In the message published by the Korean Central News Agency, Kim stated: "Justice will surely prevail, and the Russian people will continue to add glory to the history of victory." Kim called for closer strategic cooperation with Moscow, in line with the mutual desire of the peoples of both countries to achieve the significant goal of building a strong nation. North Korea has sought to establish closer relations with the Kremlin and supported Moscow following its invasion of Ukraine last year.
