A German government official pointed out today, Thursday, that it is unclear whether the upcoming G20 summit in India will result in an invitation for the African Union to join the group, but Germany supports such a move. The G20, whose members will meet in India in a few days, consists of the world's largest economies and includes the European Union as its twentieth member.
