The Southern Military Zone of the Jordanian Army, in coordination with the relevant security agencies, thwarted an infiltration attempt by four individuals, two of whom are Uzbek nationals and two are Kazakh nationals. A responsible military source in the General Command of the Armed Forces stated that the border guard forces applied the rules of engagement and apprehended them, and they have been referred to the relevant authorities. The source affirmed that the Jordanian Army will deal with any infiltration or smuggling attempt with strength and firmness to protect the borders and prevent anyone from jeopardizing Jordan's national security.
