More Than One Million Sudanese Flee Since Outbreak of Conflict

The International Organization for Migration announced today, Tuesday, that an estimated more than one million people have fled Sudan to neighboring countries since the outbreak of conflict between the army and the Rapid Support Forces in mid-April. According to the organization's weekly statistics, the conflict has led to the crossing of 1,017,449 individuals from Sudan to neighboring countries, while estimates indicate that 3,433,025 people have been displaced within the country.
