Rocket Fired from Syria Toward Golan... and Israel Responds

The Israeli army reported today, Saturday, that it detected gunfire from Syria, which triggered sirens in northern Israel and the Golan Heights. Its artillery hit the source of the gunfire in Syria. The Israeli army stated that two rockets were launched from Syria towards Israeli territory, landing in an open area. Sirens sounded in a region near the Lebanese border and a town in the Golan Heights. In another incident, the Israeli army said it launched an interceptor missile at what it referred to as a "suspicious target" that came from Lebanon and reached Israel.
