The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement today, Sunday, that "the Kingdom and the United States call on the parties to the conflict in Sudan to agree on a new ceasefire and to implement it effectively in order to reach a permanent halt to military operations." It added in the statement that "Riyadh and Washington are keen to continue discussions with the Sudanese negotiating delegations."
