The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation announced that on 26/9/2023, a unit of the Army, accompanied by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the homes of wanted individuals in the town of Qab Elias - Beqaa, where they arrested 6 individuals for previously firing gunshots. Additionally, another unit of the Army in the area of Haret al-Samaqah - Hermel mountains, thwarted an attempt to smuggle 90 Syrians into Lebanon illegally and arrested the citizen (H.N.) responsible for the smuggling operation. Investigations with the detainees have begun under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
