Egyptian Army Announces Deaths and Injuries of 9 Soldiers

The Egyptian armed forces announced the death and injury of 9 members of the Egyptian army during a planned training activity. The statement from the Egyptian military spokesperson said: "In the context of executing one of the planned training activities, while one of the specialized units was supplying ammunition in the Rubik area south of the city of 10th of Ramadan, one of the vehicles loaded with ammunition experienced a sudden overturning, resulting in the death and injury of a total of 9 officers and personnel." The armed forces clarified that the victims were "officers and personnel."
