Hassan Mazhar, the head of the Lebanese community in Gabon, confirmed that "the entire Lebanese community is well following the military coup that occurred early today. The situation is almost normal, and the Lebanese are at home monitoring developments; they are safe, and their properties and businesses are also fine." He added, "We and our team are in full coordination and follow-up with the Lebanese ambassador, Aline Younes, who is doing her utmost to meet the needs of the Lebanese here and reassure them." He noted that "all communications have returned to the country after three days of isolation, which is a positive development that provides further reassurance to the Lebanese here in Gabon and their families in Lebanon."
