Ukraine Files Complaints to WTO Against 3 Countries

The Ministry of Economy in Kyiv announced today, Monday, that "Ukraine has filed complaints with the World Trade Organization against Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary due to the ban these countries imposed on food imports from Ukraine." It emphasized that "Ukraine considers such restrictions a violation of the international obligations of EU member states." The three countries announced restrictions on Ukrainian grain imports on Friday after the European Commission decided not to extend its ban on imports to the five neighboring EU countries of Ukraine.
