The Tunisian Ministry of Tourism stated today, Friday, that tourism revenues reached $1.07 billion from the beginning of the year until July 20, marking a 51% increase compared to the same period last year and a 25% increase compared to the same period in 2019 before the pandemic. Tourism is one of the few bright spots in Tunisia's struggling economy amid a public finance crisis and drought that has impacted its agricultural sector.
