An American official stated today, Tuesday, that "the United States believes that seven people were killed in its recent airstrikes targeting Iran-linked armed groups in Syria on Sunday." This marks the first casualties since the United States began carrying out retaliatory strikes against groups it accuses of attacking American forces at bases in Iraq and Syria. Other strikes targeted unoccupied facilities, including weapons depots.
