Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev stated on Wednesday that "Britain is Moscow's eternal enemy, and any British official assisting Ukraine in the ongoing war between the two countries can be considered a legitimate military target." Medvedev wrote on his official Twitter account, "The stupid British officials should remember that Britain can be considered at war with Moscow." He added, "The United Kingdom acts as an ally of Ukraine, providing it with military assistance in the form of equipment and specialists, effectively conducting an undeclared war against Russia." He continued, "In this case, any of its government officials, whether military or civilian, who assist in the war can be considered a legitimate military target."
