According to the semi-official Tasnim news agency, an explosion occurred at a petrochemical plant in the city of Mahshahr, located in southern Iran, with no reported injuries, today Wednesday. The agency indicated that a blockage in a polyvinyl chloride storage area was the cause of the explosion at the Ghadir petrochemical plant, adding that the fire has been extinguished.
