Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman indicated today, Tuesday, that "discussions are underway regarding the establishment of a global framework for regulating cryptocurrencies," adding that "cryptocurrencies cannot be effectively regulated without cooperation from all countries." Sitharaman stated, "India's G20 presidency has brought to the forefront the key issues related to regulating or understanding the necessity of creating a framework to address the issues associated with cryptocurrencies."
