The head of the Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Jaja, stated that those who aim to cancel the municipal elections are part of the "Resistance Axis" and the "Free Patriotic Movement." He pointed out that this is very clear from the behaviors and the closed sessions. In an interview with "Lebanon Free" radio, he noted that those who want to fund the elections through a proposed law and its approval are known to not want elections, as there are no legislative sessions due to the absence of a president. Regarding the presidential file, Jaja rejected the idea of a president from the "Resistance Axis" reaching the Baabda Palace, considering this a six-year extension of the current crisis.
