Decision by Mortada to Open Heritage Sites on World Heritage Day

The Minister of Culture in the caretaker government, Mohammad Wissam Mortada, issued a decision to open the heritage sites of Baalbek, Anjar, Tyre, and Byblos for free to Lebanese visitors starting tomorrow and for a week, ending next Tuesday. He encouraged visiting Wadi Qannubin and the Rashid Karami International Exhibition, wishing those unable to take a field trip due to travel costs and the economic crisis to consider virtual visits to the heritage sites.
