French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna spoke today, Thursday, with her U.S. counterpart Antony Blinken regarding the situation in Niger. Both parties reaffirmed their support for Niger's President Mohamed Bazoum. Colonna wrote on X, "I spoke to my U.S. colleague Secretary (Antony) Blinken today. We remain committed to the restoration of democracy in Niger and support the democratically elected President."
