The Yonhap news agency reported, citing the South Korean military, that "North Korea launched several cruise missiles toward the sea off the western coast of the Korean Peninsula." Yonhap, quoting the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff, stated that "a number of missiles were detected being launched at around 4 a.m. local time (19:00 GMT on Friday)." This is the latest launch by North Korea since it fired two ballistic missiles on Wednesday.
