Important Archaeological Discovery in Egypt

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt, in collaboration with the Supreme Council of Antiquities, has successfully uncovered the largest mummification workshop in the Saqqara archaeological area. The new discovery includes a large collection of ancient statues and tools that were used by the ancient Egyptians in the mummification process, as well as wooden statues of the deity Ptah Sokar, colored limestone statues from the Old Kingdom, a number of bronze statues, and an alabaster statue containing four cartouches. Additionally, there is a collection of mummified animals, including a mummy of the goddess Bastet in the shape of a cat.
