German Chancellor to Visit Israel Tomorrow

German television channel "NTV" reported, citing government sources, that Chancellor Olaf Scholz will travel to Israel tomorrow, Tuesday. Last week, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock visited Israel, where she expressed Berlin's strong support for Israel in defending itself against the attack launched by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on October 7, which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of Israelis and the capture of others. Baerbock then headed to Egypt in efforts by Western countries to prevent escalation of the conflict in the region.
