Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning stated on Monday that she is "very dissatisfied" with the restrictions imposed by Japan on the export of chip manufacturing tools, which have already come into effect. She described these measures as "clearly directed" against Beijing. In a press conference, Mao Ning said, "China urges Japan to consider the common interests of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, as well as its long-term interests, and to refrain from abusing export control measures."
