The National News Agency reported that a collision occurred on the main road in the town of Jaitah between a black Nissan SUV and a silver Mercedes driven by Syrian Ibrahim Zahkouri, accompanied by five individuals of Syrian nationality. The incident resulted in the death of Syrian Talal Salem, born in 1994, who was inside the Mercedes. Security forces and members of the Jaitah Civil Defense Center and the Red Cross arrived at the scene, and the injured were transported to the Lebanese University Hospital in Jounieh and St. George Hospital in Ajaltoun. The accident caused severe traffic congestion.
