Hariri from his Father's Tomb: "May God Help Lebanon"

Hariri from his Father's Tomb:

At the tomb of the martyred President Rafik Hariri in downtown Beirut, there was a gathering of dozens of political, diplomatic, social, intellectual, and spiritual figures this morning, marking the 18th anniversary of his assassination. This was accompanied by thousands of citizens from various regions who came to commemorate the occasion and to welcome President Saad Hariri. The tomb and its surroundings, as well as the external courtyard of the Mohammad Al-Amin Mosque, were filled with crowds leading up to the Martyrs' Statue. In a brief statement from in front of his father's tomb, the martyred President Rafik Hariri, he said, "May God have mercy on the martyred President and may God help Lebanon." Hariri had arrived earlier in downtown Beirut at his father's tomb on the 18th anniversary of his assassination. Upon his arrival, he went to the tomb to recite Surah Al-Fatiha for the souls of his father and his righteous martyred companions, and then greeted the gathered crowds before leaving the site.
