Israel on Wednesday rejected Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's assertion that "Hamas" is not a terrorist organization. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lior Haiat wrote on X platform: "Even the Turkish president's attempts to defend the organization and his inciting words will not change the atrocities witnessed by the entire world."
