Britain, France, and Germany to Maintain Iran's Missile-Related Sanctions

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell stated that Britain, France, and Germany have informed the Union of their intention to keep the sanctions imposed on Iran related to ballistic missiles, which are set to expire in October under the 2015 nuclear agreement with Iran. Borrell added, "The foreign ministers say that Iran has been in non-compliance since 2019 and they believe the issue has not been resolved according to the dispute resolution mechanism of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action," referring to the nuclear deal between Iran and world powers.
