Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko announced that three people were killed today, Saturday, after Russia launched its latest airstrikes on Ukraine overnight, noting that "missiles targeted at least five regions across the country." Klymenko wrote on the Telegram app: "This is the method of terrorists, the method of Russia." In a separate post, the head of the military administration in Kyiv, Serhiy Popko, stated that "the damage was caused by debris from a missile that was shot down, and air defenses intercepted over 20 missiles around the city." The Ukrainian military highlighted that air defenses destroyed 41 out of 51 cruise missiles and two drones launched by Russia during the assault. Officials in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the southeast reported "eight people were injured, including two children, and several buildings were damaged in the attacks there." Emergency workers were seen sifting through the rubble at the site of the attack this morning, where a massive hole could be seen in one side of the building.
