Diplomats have revealed that the United Nations Security Council will vote later today, Wednesday, on two different proposals, one presented by the United States and the other by Russia, regarding actions related to the conflict between Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip. Both countries aim to issue a resolution from the Council addressing the shortages of food, water, medical supplies, and electricity in Gaza. However, the United States has called for temporary ceasefire periods solely to allow aid into Gaza, while Russia is advocating for a humanitarian ceasefire.
