Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal intends to visit Canada in the coming weeks, according to a spokesperson for the Canadian Prime Minister to Reuters. In an interview with the Canadian newspaper "Globe and Mail," Shmyhal stated that he aims to seek supplies of ammunition and armored vehicles to launch a counteroffensive against the invading Russian forces. He said, "We now need heavy armored vehicles, and we need more artillery shells: ammunition for howitzers and ammunition for tanks... this is extremely important for organizing our counteroffensive." He added, "If a Canadian company decides to invest money in Ukraine, we will ask the Canadian government to establish some mechanism to support Canadian investments." Ukraine is expected to launch a counteroffensive in the coming weeks or months to reclaim areas in the south and east of the country from Russian forces.
