The Moroccan theater and cinema artist Mohammed Belfaqi passed away today, Wednesday, at the age of nearly 80. Belfaqi's name rose to prominence in the early 1960s. He participated in about 60 artistic works, in addition to Moroccan theatrical, television, and cinema productions, as well as participating in 12 Arab and foreign works. Among the works he participated in are the film "Lord of the Jungle" directed by Kamel Kamel, the film "Allal Al Qalda" directed by Mohammed Ismail, and the historical Arab series "Omar ibn Al-Khattab." The Moroccan Union of Dramatic Arts Professionals mourned the late Belfaqi.
