Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced that Malaysia and the UAE agreed to jointly establish renewable energy with a capacity of ten gigawatts in Malaysia, valued at eight billion dollars by 2025. He clarified in a Facebook post on Thursday that the outlines of the cooperation were defined in a preliminary agreement between the Malaysian Investment Development Authority and Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar).
